Mechanical Engineer/Design Engineer - Automotive
WeQuel is looking for a Mechanical Engineer/Design Engineer
We are currently seeking experienced Design Engineers for assignments within a specialised vehicle development environment. You will work with chassis design and development for advanced vehicle platforms in a defence\-oriented setting, where precision, technical documentation, and cross\-functional collaboration are central to the role.
You bring hands\-on experience from product development within the vehicle industry and are comfortable taking ownership of engineering deliverables in a structured, process\-driven organisation.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Mechanical or Vehicle Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of hands\-on experience in vehicle or chassis product development
- Proficiency in OAS, 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5 / ENOVIA, KS, and FRAS
- Experience performing design and development work within chassis engineering
- Experience driving and coordinating engineering change orders (ECOs)
- Ability to maintain technical drawings and defence\-specific specifications
- Experience with prototype coordination, concept work, and root cause investigation
- Background in defence vehicles or other specialised vehicle platforms
- Experience from an OEM or tier\-1 supplier environment within the vehicle industry
Language requirements: Fluent English required, Swedish is a merit
