Arcus FM are currently recruiting a Resident M\&E Engineer to join our dedicated on\-site team at our client’s facility in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking to work in a technically varied, customer\-facing role. About the Job:
About the role:
As a Resident Engineer you will be our clients first point of contact on\-site, being responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and general building services support.

Tasks include:* Emergency lighting \& lamp changes

• Electrical \& fire alarm testing


• Fault finding and repairs (mechanical and electrical)


• Minor plumbing and fabric maintenance


• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations


• Delivering excellent service to our clients

You’ll work independently with the support of a wider team, helping to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant facility.
To be successful you will have::
Electrical Bias (Salary Band – Level 2\)Essential:* C\&G Level 3 – 2365 Electrical Installation Diploma

• AM2


• 18th Edition


• Hands\-on experience in an M\&E or multi\-skilled engineering role


• Experience with delivering PPM


• Strong communication and organisational skills


• Health \& Safety awareness

Multi\-Skilled (Salary Band – Level 1\)Essential:* Hands\-on experience in an M\&E or multi\-skilled engineering role

Desirable:* IOSH Working Safely

• Basic plumbing and fabric maintenance experience

Additional info:* The role will involve working 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including bank holidays)

• 5 days on, 2 days off \- Rotating shift pattern


• On\-call rota: 1 in every 4 weeks
