About the role
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems, structures, and components, working closely with production and engineering teams across the full product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop design documentation for standard and custom mechanical components and assemblies
- Perform engineering calculations and select materials and components
- Participate in the development of new products and improvement of existing designs
- Prepare and maintain technical and design documentation
- Develop manufacturing documentation (drawings, flat patterns, etc.)
- Create bills of materials (BOM) for purchased components
- Prepare assembly documentation for production and installation
- Provide engineering support during prototyping, testing, and commissioning
- Perform design supervision and support during product validation
- Higher technical education (Mechanical Engineering or related field)
- 3\+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
- Strong ability to work with engineering and design documentation
- Knowledge of engineering drawing standards (ISO or equivalent)
- Proficient in CAD design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD for mechanical modeling and technical drawings.
- Experience with simulation tools such as SolidWorks Simulation, Motion, and Flow Simulation for design validation and analysis (advantageous).
- Solid understanding of engineering materials, including carbon, alloy, and stainless steels, as well as engineering\-grade plastics.
- Experience with welded and riveted structures
- Experience designing mechanical systems, assemblies, and components
- Experience with sheet metal design and manufacturing processes
- Understanding of metalworking technologies
- English level B2\+ (Upper\-Intermediate or higher)
- Experience working in manufacturing or production environments
- Experience supporting products through full lifecycle (design → production → testing)
- Hands\-on approach and ability to solve complex engineering problems
- Work on complex RF engineering systems
