What You Will Do:

• Manage new contracts from assessing and validating customer requirements through to issuing design drawings, bills of materials, and detailed drawings where needed.


• Provide technical support for sales by reviewing customer requirements and offering effective design solutions.


• Collaborate with procurement teams by offering technical input to ensure smooth project execution.


• Support manufacturing activities throughout the build and completion process, ensuring efficiency and quality.


• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of standard product designs as part of a cross-functional design team.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, ideally with a qualification of HNC or higher.


• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, particularly SOLIDWORKS.


• Industry experience in sectors such as agricultural, mining equipment, commercial vehicles, or waste handling machinery.


• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.


• Strong communication skills and proficiency in PC office software applications.
