About the Role
You will join a development-focused engineering environment where mechanical design is central to turning technical ideas into robust, manufacturable solutions. In this role, you will work across both concept development and detailed design, with a clear focus on machine design, product development, and technical problem-solving.
You will contribute to solutions where functionality, quality, reliability, cost, and delivery time all need to be balanced. The work is cross-functional and gives you the opportunity to collaborate with other engineering disciplines while taking real ownership of your design work. Job DescriptionYou will develop and design mechanical solutions for products and machines.
You will work with both conceptual design and detailed design in 3D CAD.
You will dimension machine elements, including screw joints, welded structures, and attachments.
You will evaluate and apply suitable manufacturing methods and material selections.
You will create technical documentation and reports that support development and delivery.
You will collaborate with engineers across disciplines to solve technical challenges and move development forward.
You will drive your tasks independently while balancing technical performance, quality, reliability, cost, and lead time.
RequirementsStrong knowledge of general machine design.
Experience with machine element dimensioning.
Experience working with screw joints.
Experience working with welded structures and attachments.
Good understanding of welding technology.
Good understanding of manufacturing methods.
Good understanding of materials engineering.
Experience with 3D CAD design, preferably in Creo.
Good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
Ability to create technical documentation and reports.
Nice to haveExperience working with Teamcenter.
Knowledge of Geometrical Product Specifications, GPS, according to ISO 8015.
