Are you a Building Services Design Engineer from a Mechanical background looking to break into the data centre industry with a market leading business, with global projects?

Do you want to work for a business that value further development and training, in a position where you'll work directly with company directors to win and manage diverse projects in the massively growing AI industry?

In this role you will be responsible for early stage project development of Data Centres and Critical IT Infrastructure. You will be signing off contractors work, delivering technical feasibility studies, creating technical specifications and taking a position of a technical lead for the mechanical aspects of Data Centre design. Full training and support will be given, enabling you to progress your career.

This role would suit a Building Services Design Engineer from a Mechanical background looking for more autonomy, responsibility and involvement in end-to-end projects within an industry projected for logarithmic growth.

The Role:

  • Collaborating with clients to come up with early concepts for Mechanical systems within Data Centres

  • Front End Engineering & Design (FEED) of Mechanical Systems within Data Centres

  • Creating specifications and reviewing proposals for the design team

  • Tailored development plan to progress your career

  • Working within a closely knit team of technical experts

  • Working from a Oldham based office

The Person:
  • Building Services Design Engineer

  • Mechanical background (HVAC, Ventilation, Cooling, Cold-Water Loops etc)

  • Knowledge of FEED / Early concept project work
