Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter (MAMF) Apprentice

EPS Group are recruiting for our Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter (MAMF) apprenticeship programme in Naas. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career with a leading Irish engineering and utilities solutions provider, working on projects that support critical water, wastewater and infrastructure services nationwide, in addition to the UK market and European Data Centre sphere.

As an MAMF Apprentice, you will combine structured offthejob training with practical, handson experience, gaining valuable skills alongside experienced fitters and engineers. Throughout the apprenticeship, you'll be supported to develop both your technical ability and professional confidence in a safe, supportive and highquality working environment.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with mechanical installation, maintenance and repair works


• Reading and working from drawings, specifications and schematics


• Adhering to health, safety and quality standards at all times


• Learning on active project sites and in workshop environments

• A strong interest in mechanical, practical and handson work


• A proactive, reliable attitude and willingness to learn


• Good problemsolving skills and attention to detail


• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions


• Good mathematical competence, Leaving Cert completed or sitting in 2026
