We are looking for an experienced IBM Maximo SME to support a major programme, with a particular focus on Maximo Manage and Maximo Mobile.
The successful consultant will bring strong functional and technical knowledge of Maximo, alongside hands-on experience configuring and delivering Maximo Manage and Mobile solutions within complex, asset-intensive environments.
You will work with programme stakeholders, engineering teams and technical specialists to ensure Maximo is configured and utilised effectively against operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities • Act as a subject-matter expert for IBM Maximo Manage and Maximo Mobile across the programme.
- Understand asset, maintenance and work-management processes and translate requirements into Maximo solutions.
- Support the design, configuration and optimisation of Maximo Manage functionality.
- Configure and support Maximo Mobile applications and workflows for operational and field-based users.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and solution approaches.
- Advise on Maximo best practice across asset, work and maintenance management.
- Support integration, testing, migration and deployment activities where required.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and maximise the use of the Maximo platform.
- Produce appropriate solution documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Strong experience with Maximo Manage and Maximo Mobile.
- Previous experience working as a Maximo SME, Consultant or Solution Specialist.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
- Experience configuring Maximo to support maintenance, work management and asset lifecycle processes.
- Practical experience delivering mobile Maximo functionality for operational or field-based users.
- Ability to translate operational requirements into Maximo configuration and solutions.
- Experience working within complex enterprise programmes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience with Maximo Mobile configuration, customisation and offline functionality.
- Experience of Maximo integrations, data migration or platform upgrades.
- Experience within highly regulated, engineering or safety-critical environments.
- Previous experience working within defence or UK public-sector programmes.
