The Role – Maths Teacher
- Full-time maternity cover from September 2026 to July 2027
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5
- Plan, assess, and mark work in line with departmental and school policies
- Develop creative and innovative lesson plans that cater to a range of learning abilities and styles
- Prepare students for examinations, helping them achieve their full academic potential
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the mathematics department and school community
- Located in Havering with excellent transport links
- Supportive and experienced leadership team committed to staff wellbeing and success
- Positive learning environment with motivated students
- Ongoing professional development opportunities and career progression support
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Excellent subject knowledge and a strong understanding of the Maths curriculum
- Effective classroom management skills
- A passion for teaching and inspiring young people to succeed in Mathematics
