Hays Education are working in partnership with a thriving and ambitious secondary school in Brighton to recruit a talented Teacher of Mathematics for a fixed-term position from January 2027 until July 2027. This is a 4-day-per-week role (Monday to Thursday), offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a well-established department and make a real impact on students' outcomes and aspirations.

About the Mathematics Department

The Role
- Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Planning and delivering engaging, challenging lessons
- Monitoring student progress and providing effective feedback
- Contributing to the continued success of the department
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support excellent outcomes
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management skills
- A commitment to raising achievement and fostering a positive learning environment
- The ability to inspire students and promote a love of Mathematics
