Role Description
This is a remote role for a Maths Tutor. Responsibilities include conducting engaging online tutoring sessions to support students preparing for the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate. All notes and topic plans will be provided for you. We are looking for someone with a passion for teaching that will bring enthusiasm to all lessons. The ideal candidate will be available from late August to late May. A successful candidate can expect to earn €50/hr and work between 2\-4 hours per week with additional hours to be negotiated.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Leaving Cert Mathematics (H2 minimum)
- Grinds and tutoring experience preferred
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching techniques to individual student learning styles
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for online education
- Experience in preparing students for Junior Cycle or Leaving Certificate examinations is an advantage
