Materials & Logistics Assistant

We are currently looking for a Materials \& Logistics Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will report directly to our Operations Manager, assisting and liaising with the Production and Workshop teams.
This role is well varied from handling our beautiful products from its early state as a material, right through to shipping the hand finished product and arranging shipments all over the world. This role will ideally suit someone who enjoys being practical and hands\-on, as well as someone who relishes the challenge of solving a problem, all while having no qualms jumping in a van and delivering to our other company locations.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- Receipt of and quality control of Goods In
- Support and assist with the flow of materials through the workshop
- Carefully cut, pack and despatch finished products to a high standard
- Accurately maintain stock records and other documentation
- Ensure all products meet ROD quality standards
- Arrange shipment and tracking of all domestic and international shipments, resolving transport issues where necessary
- Ensure organisation and tidiness of storage areas are maintained and comply with Health and Safety
- Make contributions towards continuous improvements and a culture of safe working.
- Driving and delivering of goods between company locations
- Contribute and assist with health and safety requirements
- Assist in other general duties as and when required

Location: Eastnor, Herefordshire
Hours of Work: 37\.5 per week, 09\.00 – 17\.00 Monday to Friday including 30 mins unpaid for lunch.
Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,227\.00 per year
