Material Planner / Buyer / Purchasing Assistant

Bufab UK are seeking a dynamic and detail orientated individual to join our replenishment team.

Previous experience and knowledge of Fasteners \& C\- Class Components is preferred but not essential

Responsible for:

Operational Processes

• Purchasing items as per MRP/Requisition list


• Review open orders and customer demand to ensure on\-time delivery to customers.


• Assisting with the “Replanning” of existing PO’s to meet customer expectations


• Data maintenance (SSL, EOQ, MOQ, Segmentation's etc)


• Operational purchasing and material planning


• Inbound Logistical Queries


• Automating Imports and Clearance


• Progressing and evaluating open PO’s when required


• Communicating with sourcing on high disruption factor items or suppliers


• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships


• Collaborate closely with Sales team to ensure the best outcome for our customers.

• Maintain high service level to our customers


• Optimal use of capital (Improve NWC as per local targets)


• Optimal operational cost (Consider handling efficiency)


• Continuous improvement of demand plans (Actual versus Plan)


• Drive digital procurement to beyond global targets

Pay: £28,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
