Massage Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team, working at a prestigious health club in Watford.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology and be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients.

This role requires a commitment to enhancing the physical and emotional well\-being of individuals through various massage techniques.

Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to meet the individual needs of clients, including Swedish massage, Relaxation massage, Deep Tissue massage, Sports massage, Lymphatic Drainage and Reflexology.


• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their specific needs and preferences prior to treatment.


• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.


• Provide aftercare advice and recommendations for clients to enhance their overall wellness experience.


• Keep accurate records of treatments administered and client progress while ensuring confidentiality is maintained.


• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices through continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid certification or diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.


• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.


• A compassionate approach with a strong desire to help others achieve their wellness goals.


• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
