About the Role

SRJ (Scotland) Ltd are looking for a creative, driven, and highly organised Marketing, Social Media \& Content Executive to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about digital marketing, social media trends, and content creation.

You will play a key role in managing our social media presence, creating engaging organic content, and working closely with our external marketing agency to help drive brand awareness and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all social media platforms

  • Create engaging and creative organic social media content

  • Plan, schedule, and publish posts across multiple channels

  • Film and edit short\-form video content for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn

  • Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement and reach

  • Work closely with the marketing agency to support campaigns and brand strategy

  • Analyse social media performance and consumer engagement metrics

  • Produce regular reports with insights and recommendations

  • Ensure all content aligns with brand identity and marketing objectives

  • Work efficiently to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
  • At least 1 years previous experience in social media management and digital marketing

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement

  • Creative mindset with excellent content creation skills

  • Experience filming and editing short\-form video content

  • Strong copywriting and communication skills

  • Ability to analyse performance data and create insightful reports

  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies

  • A proactive attitude with a passion for marketing and creativity

  • Excellent written English and sharp attention to detail

  • Good understanding of UK GDPR and platform compliance basics
Desirable Skills
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar editing tools

  • Knowledge of paid social media campaigns

  • Photography or videography experience

  • Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools
