We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Marketing \& Sales Assistant to join our award\-winning team at The Brehon Hotel \& Spa. The hotel has embarked on a new chapter, with the ongoing refurbishment of the bedrooms and public spaces continuing over the next number of years. We are seeking a creative, motivated, and passionate professional to support the Sales \& Marketing team in driving the success of our brand.

This is a fantastic role for someone with a background in hospitality looking to move into Sales \& Marketing, or for an existing marketing professional eager to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of Sales \& Marketing strategies for The Brehon Hotel \& Spa.


• Design creative brand collateral, advertisements, and digital content (Canva experience essential).


• Assist in managing all social media channels \- including scheduling, posting and monitoring results.


• Ensure external partner websites are accurate and up to date, eg booking.com listing.


• Support website management using WordPress.


• Write engaging content for blogs, newsletters (ezines), and general communications.


• Assist in managing our CRM strategy, including database recruitment, management, and ezine creation, while always ensuring GDPR compliance.


• Monitor competitor activity in press and online.


• Support the Sales team with administrative tasks, database management, invoicing, and supplier documentation.


• Contribute to PR and communications campaigns.


• Attend in\-house and off\-site Sales \& Marketing events, representing the hotel brand.


• Be flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends when required.


• Assist with local and national B2B sales activities

Represent The Brehon Hotel \& Spa at consumer and trade shows

• Skills Required


• Outstanding writing, editing, and oral communication skills in English.


• Ability to prioritise, organise work assignments, and follow up effectively.


• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines.


• Extremely detail\-oriented with excellent organisational ability.


• Confident, dynamic personality and team player.


• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.


• Strong problem\-solving skills and sound judgment.


• Calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.


• Flexible to work varying hours based on business needs.


• Strong interpersonal skills to promote positive relationships with colleagues.

Competencies \& Qualifications

• Qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field (preferred).


• In\-depth understanding of digital marketing best practices, trends, and strategies.


• Proven experience in managing marketing and communications projects.


• Strong command of the English language (both written and spoken).


• Knowledge of the high\-end luxury hotel market desirable.


• Experience with graphic design tools (Canva essential, Adobe an advantage).

Full clean drivers licence (preferred but not essential)
