About the Role

As the business progresses through a period of store transformation, this role focuses on maintaining and strengthening marketing performance across 40\+ locations. This includes supporting the rollout of Stamp stores while delivering consistent marketing execution across key retail events and day‑to‑day marketing activity.

Marketing Strategy

  • Act as the strategic owner and author of the UOE/Stamp Marketing Plans, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and commercial priorities.

  • Be accountable, along with retail \& buying teams, for driving sales growth across all retail sites and product categories.

  • Responsibility for improving marketing efficiency by reducing inconsistencies and owning scalable marketing systems, frameworks and toolkits that enable consistent, high‑quality in‑store execution across all locations.

  • Lead the UOE/Stamp thought\-leadership strategy \- leveraging the knowledge within the Exec team to lead the conversation around high street regeneration, independent retail, the importance of local services.

  • Champion the evolution of the way that the UOE/Stamp brands turn up in all channels including making recommendations for efficiency improvements, driving the digital transition for the brand and developing the brand.
Functional Leadership
  • Provide direct line management and strategic oversight to marketing team members and external agency partners.

  • Act as the first point of contact for other functional leaders in retail, buying, and operations to drive alignment, advocating for marketing priorities alongside broader business priorities.

  • Set and manage the marketing budget, reporting back on marketing performance from spend. Clear accountability for using data to prioritise activity, optimise spend and drive consistency by site.
Manages The Key Events Programme
  • Ensure all key trading moments (Christmas, Mother’s Day etc.) are well executed within a 360\-market activation plan.

  • Effectively communicate promotions, core brands, new product launches and product feature campaigns throughout the year.

  • Accountable for the development of campaign related marketing assets, ensuring alignment with business strategic priorities, brand standards, and location\-specific requirements.

  • Communicate marketing content plans with cross\-functional stakeholders – buying, inventory, retail \- creating alignment and ensuring a high standard of execution through a structured project management approach

  • Ensure UOE/Stamp brand integrity across all marketing materials and highlight areas for improvement.

  • Monitor and report on competitor activity to inform marketing strategy and identify opportunities for differentiation.
Manages The Marketing Workstream of The Store Transformation Programme
  • Working with key stakeholders in the Transformation team and the Post Office, you will develop tailored local marketing campaigns to support the opening / relaunch of each individual retail site as a programme of investment rolls out.

  • Develops and leads the execution of targeted multi\-channel marketing campaigns to build awareness ahead of opening day, spanning paid social, local press, OOH advertising, and digital channels.

  • Builds relationships with local businesses, community groups, and neighbourhood organisations to embed the new store within its local ecosystem from day one.

  • As required you will support decision making around the look and feel of the store locations ensuring the Stamp brand is brought to life in a consistent and engaging fashion.
What We’re Looking For
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant hands\-on marketing experience in a bricks \& mortar retail business.

  • Min. 2 years’ experience in line management.

  • Commercially aware and literate – comfortable digging into performance data and making recommendations.

  • Experience in turning ideas / opportunities into tangible marketing strategies and plans

  • Experience in collaborating with senior internal stakeholders.

  • Welcoming and inclusive interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building successful collaborative relationships.
Reporting To : Head of Marketing \& Dotted line to CEO

Location : Stoke Newington / Muswell Hill offices (with some travel to home counties stores)
