With annual turnover exceeding £10 million and ambitious growth plans, we're looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to help drive our next phase of growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and creative marketer who wants to make a real impact within a growing business. You'll work closely with senior management to increase brand awareness, generate high\-quality leads, support recruitment campaigns and strengthen our position across domestic, commercial and public sector markets.
The Role
We're looking for someone who can take ownership of our marketing activities and help drive measurable business growth.
Our website, SEO and technical digital infrastructure are managed by our external marketing partner, so this role is focused on strategy, lead generation, brand development, content creation, recruitment marketing and campaign management.
You will be responsible for ensuring our marketing activity delivers results and effectively showcases the quality of work Trent's Drains delivers every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Trent's Drains' overall marketing strategy.
- Work closely with our external marketing agency to align campaigns with business objectives.
- Monitor and improve lead generation performance across all marketing channels.
- Manage and oversee paid advertising campaigns alongside external partners.
- Create engaging content for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
- Produce project case studies, customer success stories and company news updates.
- Visit live sites to capture photos, videos and content showcasing our work.
- Manage and enhance the company's online reputation, including Google Reviews and customer feedback.
- Support the commercial team with presentations, bid submissions and marketing materials.
- Develop recruitment marketing campaigns to attract engineers, CCTV surveyors, drainage operatives and office staff.
- Coordinate branded materials, vehicle graphics, uniforms, signage and exhibition displays.
- Manage email marketing and customer retention campaigns.
- Track performance metrics and provide monthly reporting on marketing activity and ROI.
- Proven experience in a Marketing Manager role.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and lead generation.
- Experience managing external agencies and marketing suppliers.
- Excellent content creation and copywriting skills.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
- Ability to analyse data and report on campaign performance.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience within construction, drainage, utilities, civils or engineering sectors.
- Experience creating video content and managing social media campaigns.
- Knowledge of B2B and public sector marketing.
- Experience supporting recruitment campaigns.
Within your first 12 months, you'll help:
- Increase inbound enquiries and lead quality.
- Strengthen the Trent's Drains brand across the South West.
- Increase customer reviews and online engagement.
- Support the recruitment of key operational staff.
- Generate more commercial opportunities with contractors, housing associations, local authorities and facilities management companies.
- Deliver consistent, high\-quality content showcasing our projects and capabilities.
