Marketing Manager — Share Collective

Full\-time \| Liverpool

Share Collective is a creative marketing agency working across music, events, hospitality and lifestyle, partnering with artists, festivals, venues, restaurants and brands across the UK and internationally.

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our growing team and take ownership of the day\-to\-day delivery of marketing across our client portfolio.

This isn’t just a social media management role.

We’re looking for someone who understands the bigger picture, someone who can take a client’s objectives, turn them into a clear marketing strategy and make sure everything actually gets delivered.

You’ll be highly organised, proactive, commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership. We’re looking for someone who spots what needs doing before they need to be asked.

The Role

You’ll sit at the centre of our client accounts, working closely with our in\-house Social Media Account Manager, designers, creatives, videographers and digital team.

You’ll be responsible for making sure campaigns are properly planned, the team knows what they’re working towards, deadlines are hit and our clients consistently receive a high standard of work.

A key part of the role will be working closely with our Social Media Account Manager to quality\-control social media plans and content, provide strategic direction and ensure everything we produce aligns with the client’s wider objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the day\-to\-day marketing strategy and delivery across a portfolio of clients

  • Develop weekly, monthly and campaign\-specific marketing plans

  • Translate client objectives into clear, actionable marketing strategies

  • Work closely with our Social Media Account Manager to develop effective social strategies for each client

  • Review and quality\-control social media plans before they are presented to clients

  • Review planned content to ensure it meets our creative, strategic and brand standards

  • Provide constructive feedback and direction to our Social Media Account Manager

  • Ensure content is planned ahead and delivered consistently across client channels

  • Identify gaps in content calendars and ensure they’re addressed before they become a problem

  • Ensure social activity connects to each client’s wider marketing and commercial objectives

  • Build integrated campaigns across organic social, paid media, email/SMS, content and influencer marketing

  • Brief and coordinate designers, videographers and other creative resources

  • Quality\-control work before it reaches clients

  • Manage client communication, expectations, deadlines and approvals

  • Monitor account and campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Use performance data to influence future marketing activity

  • Run regular account reviews across the client portfolio

  • Identify problems, opportunities and outstanding actions without waiting for senior management to flag them

  • Keep the wider team accountable to deadlines and deliverables

  • Help develop and improve our internal marketing processes as the agency grows
Who We’re Looking For

Organisation is absolutely fundamental to this position.

We’re looking for someone who naturally takes ownership of their work and the work happening around them.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in a marketing management, account management or agency role

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing and modern social media

  • Exceptional organisational and project\-management skills

  • Experience managing multiple clients, campaigns or projects simultaneously

  • A proactive rather than reactive approach to work

  • Strong client communication skills

  • Confidence managing and reviewing the work of others

  • The ability to give clear, constructive feedback and maintain high standards

  • An understanding of how organic content, paid advertising, email/SMS, influencers and creative work together

  • The ability to turn strategy into a clear plan and make sure that plan gets executed

  • Strong attention to detail

  • The ability to prioritise effectively in a fast\-moving environment

  • A commercial understanding of marketing — not simply what looks good, but why we’re doing it and what we’re trying to achieve

  • An understanding of culture and a genuine interest in music, nightlife, events, hospitality or entertainment
You don’t need to be a graphic designer, videographer or full\-time content creator. We have creatives for that.

What we need is someone who knows what needs creating, why we’re creating it, when we need it and how it contributes to the wider marketing strategy.

Managing \& Developing the Team

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply be responsible for your own output.

You’ll be expected to review work, give constructive feedback, maintain standards and ensure the wider marketing team delivers.

You’ll work particularly closely with our in\-house Social Media Account Manager, providing strategic direction and quality\-controlling their social media plans and content before they reach clients.

We want someone who can help develop the people around them while creating a culture of ownership, accountability and consistently high standards.

What Success Looks Like

We want you to become the person who knows what’s happening across our client accounts.

That means:

\- Clients know what we’re doing and when.
\- Campaigns are planned ahead rather than thrown together at the last minute.
\- Content doesn’t unexpectedly stop going out.
\- Deadlines aren’t missed.
\- Social plans are strategically strong and properly quality\-controlled.
\- The creative team knows what they’re working on and why.
\- Problems are spotted and solved early.
\- Opportunities are identified proactively.
\- Senior management doesn’t need to chase the team to find out whether something has been done.

Ultimately, we’re looking for someone who can take ownership of our marketing operation and make things happen.
