MOVEMATES LOGISTICS LIMITED is a growing logistics and distribution business operating across London and surrounding areas. Our services include residential and commercial removals, move\-management, road transport and wholesale soft\-drink distribution to retail and catering customers.
The Role
We are looking for a full\-time Marketing Manager to plan, develop and manage the company's marketing and commercial growth activities. The role reports directly to the Director and will support customer acquisition, market development, brand growth and commercial opportunities across our removals, logistics and wholesale\-distribution services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's marketing and commercial development strategy.
- Carry out market research and monitor customer demand, competitors, pricing and market trends.
- Analyse customer enquiries, sales and marketing performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Plan, manage and review marketing campaigns across digital and other suitable channels.
- Develop B2B marketing strategies for estate agents, letting agents, retailers, catering businesses and other commercial customers.
- Develop customer\-acquisition and retention strategies for residential and commercial removal services.
- Identify new markets, referral opportunities, partnerships and commercial opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective business clients.
- Support the development and negotiation of new commercial arrangements where appropriate.
- Manage the marketing budget and monitor campaign costs, conversion rates and return on marketing investment.
- Monitor marketing KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for the Director.
- Oversee brand positioning, promotional messaging, website marketing, search, social media and digital advertising at management level.
- Coordinate external marketing, advertising, design or digital service providers where required.
- Work with the operations team to ensure marketing activity reflects the company's actual services and capacity.
- Recommend improvements to marketing processes, customer acquisition and commercial performance.
- Relevant experience in marketing, commercial marketing, business development or a related field.
- Experience developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Good understanding of market research, customer segmentation and competitor analysis.
- Ability to analyse sales, customer and marketing data and make commercial recommendations.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify new business opportunities.
- Experience managing marketing projects, priorities, budgets or performance targets.
- Strong communication, organisational, analytical and decision\-making skills.
- Ability to prepare reports, presentations and recommendations for senior management.
- Good understanding of digital marketing and performance measurement.
- Experience in logistics, transport, removals, wholesale or distribution.
- B2B marketing experience.
- Google Ads, SEO, website analytics or CRM experience.
- Experience with marketing analytics, customer segmentation or performance dashboards.
- Experience managing external agencies, contractors or marketing suppliers.
A degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business, Management, Digital Marketing, Data/Analytics or a related subject would be advantageous. Applicants without a marketing\-specific degree may also be considered where they can demonstrate relevant marketing or commercial experience and the ability to perform a management\-level role.
Pay: £35,500\.00 per year
