Position Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the annual marketing and communication strategy for W Florence, ensuring alignment with brand standards while driving awareness, engagement, and revenue generation across all market segments.
This role will oversee integrated marketing campaigns, digital presence, public relations initiatives, partnerships, content creation, and local activations that reinforce W Florence as a leading luxury lifestyle destination in Florence and beyond.
The successful candidate will be highly creative, commercially minded, and experienced in luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands, with a strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior and digital marketing trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual Marketing Plan in alignment with hotel business objectives and Marriott brand standards.
- Position W Florence as a leading luxury lifestyle destination through innovative and impactful marketing initiatives.
- Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive insights to support revenue growth and brand visibility.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Operations, and Marriott regional teams to ensure marketing strategies support commercial objectives.
- Manage the hotel's digital ecosystem, including website content, Marriott channels, social media platforms, and third\-party partnerships.
- Oversee digital campaigns, SEO/SEM initiatives, email marketing, and performance marketing activities.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide analysis with recommendations for continuous optimization.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital and guest\-facing communication channels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, luxury brands, tourism organizations, and local stakeholders.
- Coordinate PR activities, media visits, influencer collaborations, and press events.
- Identify strategic partnerships that enhance brand visibility and guest engagement.
- Lead content creation initiatives including photography, video production, social media storytelling, and marketing collateral.
- Support the development of signature experiences, activations, and events that reflect the W Hotels brand DNA.
- Ensure all communications maintain the distinctive voice and visual identity of W Hotels.
- Manage the annual marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Track and report key marketing KPIs, campaign performance, and return on investment.
- Provide regular reports and insights to hotel leadership and Marriott stakeholders.
- Minimum 4 years of Marketing experience within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, luxury retail, fashion, or premium consumer brands.
- Previous experience within an international luxury hotel environment is highly preferred.
- Marriott International experience is considered a strong advantage.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior and lifestyle branding.
- Excellent digital marketing and social media expertise.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Creative mindset combined with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast\-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship\-building skills.
- Fluent in English; Italian language proficiency is highly desirable.
