Makr Shakr is a pioneering robotics company born from research conducted at the Senseable City Lab at MIT, led by professor Carlo Ratti. Our name says it all: Makr references the maker culture and open\-source digital fabrication, while Shakr nods to mixology and the transformative potential of robotics in the F\&B industry. Based in Italy, our R\&D team develops state\-of\-the\-art mixologist and barista robots that operate across a wide range of settings, from high\-end hospitality to large\-scale events, addressing labor challenges while bringing joy, elegance, and innovation to every pour.

The Role

Makr Shakr is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team in Turin. You will work closely with the CEO to define and implement the company’s communication and marketing strategy, building and growing the Makr Shakr community across digital and offline channels while driving brand visibility worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

As Marketing Manager, you will be involved in a wide range of activities, including:

• Defining and implementing the communication and marketing strategy in line with the company’s vision


• Managing and developing Makr Shakr’s social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) with engaging and consistent content


• Building and nurturing the Makr Shakr community, including clients, followers, and enthusiasts of technology and F\&B


• Working directly with the CEO on strategic branding, PR, and event initiatives


• Launching and coordinating marketing campaigns for new products, local activations, and global initiatives


• Monitoring KPIs and activity results, proposing corrective actions and new ideas


• Coordinating external suppliers (graphic designers, agencies, photographers, etc.)

Requirements

• Preferably 2–5 years of experience in similar roles (ideally in F\&B, tech, lifestyle, or hospitality industries)


• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken


• Strong understanding of social media platforms and engagement strategies


• Ideally, basic skills in graphic design or content creation tools (e.g., Figma, Canva, Adobe, CapCut)
