Marketing Manager
Location
Lostock, Bolton – Full time onsite (occasional travel to meetings and industry events as required).
Purpose of the Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and delivering the strategic marketing agenda for a B2B commercial business sector buying group operating within a membership structure. The role will drive brand growth, commercial performance, member engagement and category marketing across the network.

Experience / Qualifications
Degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
Minimum 3\-5 years’ marketing experience \- looking for the next step to progress career.
Experience within B2B, wholesale, retail, distribution or buying group environments preferred.
Demonstrable success delivering campaigns that drive commercial growth.
Experience managing budgets and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and Collaborate with the Group Sales and Marketing Committee, working closely with the Sales \& Marketing Director, to oversee projects and their timely completion.
Strategic Leadership of the marketing design team.
Sit on the Leadership Team, contributing to planning, culture and performance.
Identify market trends, customer insights, competitor activity and opportunities within the sector.
Manage seasonal campaigns, launches, category initiatives and activity.
Ensure consistency of messaging, visual identity and tone of voice across all communications.
Create and deliver marketing resources, toolkits, campaigns and assets for members to use locally.
Present at member meetings to communicate plans and results.
Work collaboratively with approved suppliers to ensure smooth process of label design and production enabling smooth transition of product production.
Oversee creation of catalogues, brochures, POS, digital campaigns, email marketing and social media.
Collaborate with the PR agency to deliver the annual plan ensuring high quality outputs on time and within budget.
Ensure digital channels are optimised for engagement, lead generation, and member communication.
Use analytical reporting to evaluate effectiveness and improve performance of campaigns.
Lead, motivate and develop the marketing team through regular 1:1’s and annual appraisals.
Manage departmental budgets and ensure strong return on marketing investment.
