Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, versatile Marketing Manager to take the reins of our daily marketing operations, blending big\-picture strategy with hands\-on execution.

In this role, you will manage the day\-to\-day running of our marketing department, covering everything from digital campaigns to traditional marketing and events. While you will have the strategic guidance and mentorship of a Fractional CMO, you will be the driving force on the ground, turning ideas into action, building a small team, and converting propositions into revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go\-To\-Market (GTM) Propositions: Partner with key department heads and the Senior Leadership Team to translate Cameo’s services into sharply defined GTM propositions, ensuring our USPs are clearly defined and communicated.

  • Channel Partner Engagement \& Enablement: Build strong relationships across our channel ecosystem. You will support our customers' marketing teams by delivering effective "Campaigns\-in\-a\-Box" to help channel partners drive pipeline and sales enablement.

  • Brand Storytelling \& Advocacy: Bring the Cameo brand to life through compelling storytelling, thought leadership, and vendor/client advocacy, positioning us as a leader in our space.

  • Team Building \& Management: As we scale our marketing efforts, you will help recruit, mentor, and manage a small, agile internal team.

  • Agency \& Vendor Management: Oversee external specialist partners and agencies (such as web development, design, PR), ensuring deliverables are met on time, on brief, and within budget.

  • Campaign Devising \& Execution: Create and deploy targeted marketing campaigns across a variety of unique audience segments.

  • Content Management \& Delivery: Manage and deliver high\-quality content across all digital platforms. This includes owning the content calendar, overseeing website updates, driving SEO performance, and scheduling organic social media channels to ensure an engaging and consistent message.

  • Lead Generation \& Nurturing: Design and execute lead\-generation campaigns, building robust nurture programs to support the business development teams.

  • Events Management: Own the events calendar from end to end, from brainstorming concepts that drive brand awareness and lead generation to executing the logistics.

  • PR \& Awards: Manage public relations efforts and spearhead industry award submissions to showcase our success.
Core Skills \& Attributes
  • Exceptional Communication \& Copywriting: Strong written skills with the ability to write compelling copy for emails, social media, and web content, alongside professional verbal communication for internal stakeholder management.

  • Organisation \& Prioritisation: Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to manage competing campaigns, event deadlines, and team priorities effectively.

  • Commercial Acumen: A clear understanding of how marketing activity directly links to lead generation, pipeline growth, and business development.

  • Data \& Analytics Literacy: Comfortable analysing campaign performance metrics, website analytics, and CRM data to measure ROI and pivot strategies where necessary.
Experience
  • A Hands\-On Approach: You possess a strong grasp of marketing strategy but genuinely enjoy execution, getting stuck into data, copy, and campaign setup.

  • Versatility: You are equally comfortable discussing high\-level strategy with the SLT as you are managing day\-to\-day administrative or creative marketing tasks.

  • Design \& Video Skills (A Plus): Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or basic video editing/content creation tools to efficiently produce quick assets is highly desirable.

  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge or experience within Channel Services or the IT/Tech industry is a significant advantage
Pay: £40,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
