Marketing Lead - Paid Social

Parker Young is proud to continue our 10 year+ partnership with Spike, this time on the hunt to find a Marketing Lead with paid social at their core.

Established in 2010, Spike is a Leeds-based digital marketing agency helping ambitious brands grow through paid media, SEO, digital PR and digital strategy and has multiple clients across Retail/ Ecommerce, FMCG, Travel and Leisure. Spike’s approach is built around close client partnerships and a clear focus on commercial results.

The opportunity

You’ll become the agency’s go-to paid social specialist, personally running and growing campaigns, primarily on Meta, with opportunities across TikTok, LinkedIn and other platforms where they make sense.

You’ll decide where budgets go, identify opportunities to scale and shape the creative that keeps campaigns performing. Your expertise will influence what gets tested, what gets made next and when an account is ready for a bigger investment.

The remit extends beyond paid social. Working alongside a Strategic Client Lead, you’ll own the delivery of integrated campaigns, bringing paid, organic and content activity together. You’ll lead client performance conversations and help develop the executives working on your accounts.

It’s a role with the autonomy to make decisions and the responsibility to see them through.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have at least three years’ hands-on paid social experience, particularly on Meta, and a track record of growing accounts while maintaining efficiency. E-commerce experience would be especially valuable.

You’ll understand how strong creative, audience choices and commercial judgement work together. You can explain performance clearly, challenge what the numbers appear to say and recommend the next move with confidence.

You’ll also be comfortable coordinating activity across channels and using AI in your everyday work to improve analysis, ideas and decision-making.
