The Opportunity
We’re looking for a talented and driven Marketing Executive to join our team and take ownership of how Thetius shows up in the world, across our content, our brand, and the products we take to market.
This is a broad, hands\-on role for someone who can write with clarity, think strategically, and execute consistently. You will own the editorial calendar, lead content production, protect brand integrity, and translate Thetius research into compelling marketing propositions. What You'll Do
- Write, edit, and coordinate the creation of posts, articles, and updates across channels.
- Curate third\-party and internal content for distribution.
- Plan, schedule, and execute client thought leadership content marketing campaigns end\-to\-end.
- Own and manage the editorial calendar for LinkedIn and The Brief newsletter.
- Ensure regular, timely content output across all platforms.
- Review all content, client and internal, for alignment with Thetius tone, visual identity, and messaging.
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, messaging templates, and visual frameworks.
- Translate Thetius research, insights, and services into clear, compelling marketing propositions.
- Develop positioning and messaging for new research launches, service offerings, and subscription tiers.
- Create campaign landing pages, one\-pagers, and sales presentations.
- Own and keep up to date all marketing\-related web pages.
- Create and maintain brochures, pitch decks, case studies, and sales enablement materials.
- Track and analyse key marketing metrics and engagement rates to drive continuous optimisation.
Essential:
- 3–5 years of experience in a B2B marketing, content, or brand role.
- Experience owning an editorial calendar and delivering consistent content output.
- Comfortable working across content, brand, and product marketing in a broad, fast\-moving role.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn as a B2B marketing channel and with newsletter platforms.
- An eye for design and an instinct for brand consistency, even if you’re not a designer.
- Analytically curious, you review performance data and use it to sharpen your approach.
- Self\-directed and well\-organised, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Interest in or knowledge of the maritime, shipping, or adjacent industries.
- Experience supporting go\-to\-market launches for research, data, or subscription products.
- A proven track record in B2B sales, including new business development.
- Excellent communication skills across phone, email, video, and in\-person.
- Strong negotiation and closing ability.
- Confident working to targets and managing your own time.
- Experience building relationships across all seniority levels.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to understand client needs quickly.
- Highly organised, detail\-oriented, and resilient under pressure.

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
