Marketing Executive (Content)
Marketing Executive (Content & Communications Focus)
We’re looking for a detail-driven Marketing Executive to join a busy, collaborative team, playing a key role in delivering high-quality content, communications, and website updates across the organisation.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys writing, editing and proofreading, and wants to build a career focused on content and digital communications, rather than purely social media.
The role
Reporting to the Campaigns Manager, you’ll support the delivery of a multi-channel communications programme designed to engage members and promote learning, events, and professional services.
A large part of your role will centre on website content management, editorial quality, and internal communications coordination.
What you’ll be doing
- Publishing and updating content on the website (CMS – Umbraco)
- Proofreading and editing copy to ensure consistency, tone of voice and SEO best practice
- Managing and coordinating monthly and quarterly email newsletters
- Working with internal teams to gather, refine and prioritise content requests
- Ensuring all communications are clear, accurate, and aligned to brand guidelines
- Supporting social media activity (drafting posts and basic asset creation – not the primary focus)
- Assisting with content and materials for key events
- 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing, content or communications role
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Experience managing website or digital content
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders across a business
- Familiarity with email marketing tools and digital channels
- Experience using a CMS (Umbraco ideally)
- Basic design or content tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe tools)
- Understanding of SEO and analytics
- Experience using CRM or project management tools
This is a great opportunity to develop your career in a content-led marketing role, where you’ll have real ownership of messaging, editorial quality, and digital communications across the organisation.
