About us

Business Helpline is a growing insolvency and business advisory firm based in Nelson, Lancashire. We provide confidential advice to directors of limited companies dealing with business debt, cash flow problems, HMRC arrears, creditor pressure and insolvency concerns.

We are looking for a full\-time Marketing Executive to support our day\-to\-day marketing activity and help us continue growing our online presence.

The role

This is a varied, hands\-on marketing role covering social media, website updates, content, campaigns and general digital marketing support.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and wider team to create useful, professional and approachable content for business owners and company directors.

Key responsibilities

· Creating and scheduling social media content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other platforms

· Helping write and upload blog articles, website content and news updates

· Making basic updates to WordPress websites

· Creating simple graphics and marketing assets using Canva or similar tools

· Supporting short\-form video content, including captions, titles and descriptions

· Helping with email marketing campaigns and CRM activity

· Supporting landing pages, lead generation campaigns and marketing projects

· Keeping website and social content accurate, consistent and up to date

· Helping turn technical subjects into clear, useful content for business owners

Skills and experience

We are looking for someone with experience in some or all of the following:

· Social media marketing

· Content writing or copywriting

· WordPress or similar website platforms

· Canva or basic design tools

· Email marketing

· Basic SEO knowledge

· Digital marketing campaigns

· Short\-form video content

Video editing experience would be a strong advantage, especially for reels, shorts, captions and simple social media videos.

About you

You should be organised, proactive and comfortable working across a mix of marketing tasks. Strong written English and attention to detail are important, as we work in a professional sector where accuracy matters.

You do not need insolvency experience, but you should be willing to learn about our services and write about serious subjects in a clear, helpful and responsible way.

What we offer

· Salary of £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience
