ERS Syndicate 218 at Lloyds is managed by Starr. We are the UK’s largest specialist motor insurer with an A\+ rating and have been making motoring passions and livelihoods possible since 1946\. We work exclusively with motor insurance brokers to help get under the skin of the most difficult insurance risks, helping build products to meet their customer’s needs. Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing and Events Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. As a self\-starter and team\-oriented individual, you will play a crucial role in supporting the ERS and Starr International Marketing Managers and contributing to projects. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing broker events, co\-ordinating the design and production of marketing materials, producing presentations, dealing with suppliers and finance and managing website/social media content.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail\-oriented individual who is passionate about marketing to learn and grow as part of an established marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Helping to create outstanding online and in\-person events, liaising with suppliers.

  • Maintaining and updating the Starr international and ERS websites.

  • Collaborating with the business to plan and deliver content across all social media channels.

  • Managing our broker databases for effective communication.

  • Scheduling and helping to craft engaging social media content.

  • Daily project management support for global marketing projects ensuring timely delivery

  • Producing PowerPoint presentations to support the team.

Qualifications, skills and experience* Outstanding Organisation: Showcase excellent administrative and prioritisation skills.
  • Effective Communication: Exhibit strong written and verbal communications skills.

  • Digital Proficiency: Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Experience of LinkedIn, Instagram and HubSpot would be an advantage.

  • Collaborative Spirit: Build strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers through effective interpersonal skills.

  • Learning Mindset: Be eager to learn about marketing in a fast\-paced environment.

  • Online Presence: Proven experience with website and social media management preferred.
