About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Marketing \& Business Development Executive to help grow our client base in the UK logistics market.
This role is results\-focused — ideal for someone who can turn marketing activities into real business opportunities.
You will be responsible for both lead generation and client acquisition, with a strong focus on the logistics and cross\-border e\-commerce sector.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development \& Client Acquisition (Core Focus)
- Generate leads through LinkedIn outreach, networking events, and direct prospecting
- Identify and approach UK\-based e\-commerce sellers, importers, and logistics clients
- Deliver sales pitches and convert leads into paying customers
- Manage a sales pipeline and achieve monthly revenue targets
- Plan and execute industry events, meetups, and networking sessions
- Build partnerships with platforms, agents, and service providers
- Create content related to logistics, customs, and VAT to support lead generation
- Understand client supply chain needs and propose tailored logistics solutions
- Work closely with operations to ensure feasibility
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and service agreements
- Maintain relationships with key clients
- Handle onboarding and ongoing account management
- Identify upsell and cross\-sell opportunities
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain
- Proven ability in sales, business development, or client acquisition
- Strong communication skills in English (Mandarin is a plus)
- Confident in networking and building industry connections
- Target\-driven and commercially aware
