Marketing Assistant (Social Media & Video) - 1 Day a Week

About us

The Dentist is a friendly, well\-established dental practice serving our local community in Great Barr and the wider West Midlands. We pride ourselves on great patient care and a welcoming atmosphere, and we want our marketing to reflect that. We are looking for a creative, self\-motivated Marketing Assistant to help us grow our presence online and in the local area.

The role

This is a hands\-on, one\-day\-a\-week role ideal for someone who loves creating content and getting out into the community. You will be responsible for producing engaging social media content, editing short videos, and carrying out local outreach to nearby businesses and facilities.

What you will do:

\- Plan, create and schedule content for our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and others)

\- Film and edit short, engaging videos showcasing the practice, our team and patient results

\- Photograph the practice, staff and (with consent) treatments for use online

\- Visit local businesses, community facilities and partners to build relationships and promote the practice

\- Help grow our followers, engagement and local reputation

\- Monitor reviews and respond in a friendly, professional tone

What we are looking for:

\- A genuine interest in marketing, social media and content creation

\- Confidence with video editing (e.g. CapCut, Premiere or similar) and creating content on mobile

\- Good written English and a friendly, on\-brand tone

\- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle \- driving is essential, as the role involves visiting local facilities for outreach

\- Reliable, organised and able to work independently

\- Comfortable being out and about representing the practice

No formal qualifications are required \- we care most about your creativity, attitude and portfolio. Applicants of all ages are welcome.
