Marketing and Recruitment Officer
This role is based within the Faculty of Humanities Student Marketing and Recruitment team, which leads and delivers marketing and student recruitment activity across the Faculty’s diverse portfolio of subjects. Alongside supporting the Faculty’s priorities, the role also has responsibility for marketing and student recruitment activity of the School of Environment, Education and Development (SEED) \- a large, interdisciplinary School within the Faculty of Humanities, with a strong international reputation across architecture, education, geography, global development and environmental planning, and a clear commitment to addressing major societal and global challenges. Working closely with academic colleagues and professional services teams, the role operates
as part of a single, collaborative, cross University professional services team, contributing to Faculty and University wide recruitment priorities, alongside School\-
level responsibilities.
Overall, Purpose of the Job:
To be responsible for a range of Student Marketing and Recruitment related activities associated with a specified assignment area.
To work with leaders in Professional Services (PS), to embed locally and University\-wide a culture of excellent service provision and continuous improvement, placing the student experience at the heart of what we do, with support for a single PS team working flexibly across organisational boundaries.
To work with senior colleagues in the delivery of strategies to deliver the University’s home and international student recruitment targets across UG, PGT and PGR programmes and enhancing the student experience.
To manage the work of staff in the delivery of marketing and recruitment activities.
Colleagues will be expected work flexibly across the University and to take on assignments and roles as required across the organisation, using key principles of
business partnering and collaborative working to ensure delivery of university and local priorities, always operating as a single cross University team.
