Marketing and Creative Comms Manager
Oxford Information Labs is an Oxford based Technical and Research consultancy founded in 2002\. Over the years we have worked with a mixture of public and private sector organisations to deliver value both technically and through expert policy research. We are currently engaged primarily in a not\-for\-profit venture (The Global Signal Exchange) which has a mission to reduce fraud through real\-time cross\-border, cross\-sector signal sharing.
We are currently recruiting the role of Marketing and Creative Comms Manager. The main purpose of the role is to manage effectively the Marketing and Creative team comprised of Graphics, Media and Social Media team members under the primary direction and guidance of the CEO and CTO. As Marketing and Comms span the whole organisation it is inevitable that this role will involve lots of cross collaboration with other departments and staff.
Successful candidates will have at least 3\-5 years worked experience in a marketing / communications role. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential with both internal and external communication including to high profile clients being an integral part of this role. Experience using social media platforms for business communications and a good eye for design are also essential qualities with graphic design and media production experience being highly desirable. Experience in the tech and/or non\-profit environments is desirable. As this role involves the management of a small team (3 people initially) successful candidates should be effective team players with strong people skills and a willingness to invest in the growth of others.
In terms of educational background, we would expect a successful candidate to have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (Business, Marketing or similar) and a keen desire to learn new skills and develop their expertise.
All candidates must be based in commuting distance of Oxford (this is predominantly an in\-person role) and have the right to work in the UK.
The salary range for this job is £40k \- £50k depending on experience. Other benefits include lunch provision, private health care and subsidised gym memberships as well as a workplace pension scheme.
