Marketing & Events Coordinator

Ember Recruitment are hiring on behalf of a business based in Taunton looking for a Marketing and Events Coordinator. This role is based on site and they require someone who has experience with organising in-person events and shows/expos

Key Responsibilities:

Event Organisation -

• Coordinate the attendance and logistics for events and campaigns, such as booking venues, arranging catering, managing supplies, and setting up exhibition spaces at specialist shows.


• Liaise with suppliers and 3rd parties, such as event organisers and educational establishments.


• Generate promotional materials for upcoming events across our website and social media platforms.


• Research and identify potential events and marketing opportunities.

• Effective communication with the senior leadership team around marketing content and direction, gaining an understanding of their objectives to develop tailored campaigns.


• Assist in creating marketing content, ensuring consistency and professionalism.


• Support social media efforts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and providing analytics.


• Regularly maintain and update company websites.


• Work collaboratively across the firm to be able to provide new content for company websites.


• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new opportunities.


• Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings.

• Assist in the creation and organisation of marketing materials, including presentations, reports, and promotional content.


• Manage and organise marketing files, ensuring easy accessibility for the team.

• Proactive in your approach, using your initiative and creativity to drive company growth and lead marketing campaigns.


• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.


• Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite) and basic knowledge of marketing tools and platforms.


• A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all marketing materials.


• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced marketing environment.


• Collaborative mindset and willingness to assist team members as needed.
