Manufacturing Engineering Combat (EFA RHW)

Job Description:

An opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer in area of Eurofighter RHW (Combat Spain) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, to be based in Getafe (Madrid).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform and update documentation and technical instruction according to design changes, improvements, process modification, implementation of innovation solutions, 3D Work Orders...


• Provide shop floor support in order to solve issues during manufacturing processes.


• Work with the Material Review Board (MRB). Disposition to defects, HNCs, Waivers...


• Co\-design with design office, in order to improve and approve new designs, MCA, RFA...


• To be part of multi functional team, to solve all issues come up in manufacturing line.


• Manufacturing structure and process, associated domunentation (work order, technical instruction, job card…), updated process.


• Manufacturing feedback (OSF, KAIZEN, Practical Problem Solving).


• Create and develop competitive and mature technologies in support of new needs.


• Assess and adapt new technologies to cover the needs and requirements of the business lines.


• Product configuration awareness.


• Future business requirements.


• New manufacturing process based on new technology solution.

SKILLS

• Education: Aeronautical Engineering degree or a related discipline.


• Experience: At least 3\-5 years in Manufacturing, Engineering or Design


• Soft skills : High adaptability to work on new topics, teamwork, proactive, innovative, looking for continous improvement...


• Languages: Advanced level in English.


• Technical knowledge : CATIA, Sipla, SAP, MEP, DBC, DMU4D, 3DAV...


• Valuable / Nice to have: experience in Airbus, in Air Power Operations (TAO) or Comercial Aircraft Operations.
