Quality & Manufacturing Engineer

Day-to-day of the role:
- UK Cup Manufacturing & Quality Management:
- Monitor and improve UK CUP production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Support manufacturing engineering activities such as process optimization, work balancing, and standardization.
- Investigate production and field quality issues to ensure effective containment and corrective actions.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- WWL Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and guidance for Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL) related activities.
- Coordinate technical issue resolution during transport, handling, and delivery processes.
- Support damage inspection, root cause analysis, and countermeasure implementation.
- Ensure technical alignment between logistics operations and manufacturing requirements.
- EUCUP Communication & Coordination:
- Act as a key interface between the European divisions for quality, engineering, and production topics.
- Share technical information, field issues, and improvement actions.
- Align change management, engineering updates, and standard processes across regions.
- Support reporting and follow-up of related KPIs and improvement initiatives.
- Technical Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve manufacturing and quality issues in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide on-site or remote engineering support for complex technical problems.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, analyse, and report production and quality data.
- Track KPIs related to quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Standardization & Process Improvement:
- Develop and update work instructions, assembly standards, and process documentation.
- Identify improvement opportunities in manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Support implementation of best practices across regions.
- Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving.
- Strong background in manufacturing process and quality management.
- Skilled in data analysis and reporting; proficiency in Excel and SAP preferred.
- Understanding of logistics interfaces; WWL experience is a plus.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of FMEA and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong coordination skills across international teams.
