About the company

I am currently recruiting behalf of a leading high end low volume client based in Woking who are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer \- New Model to join their team on a long term rolling contract basis

Job Description

  • PFMEA

  • To support and drive the implementation of best practices to improve RFT delivery

  • Collaborating with Engineering \& Operations teams in leading the design of new / amendments to existing layouts and material flow to ensure new models align with the overall plan and vision for the facility

  • Support and influence the following cross functional business activities to achieve the Project deliverables such as:

  • Concept / Design Reviews

  • Engineering release delivery

  • DFMEA

Knowledge, Skills \& Experience:
  • A degree in mechanical / automotive engineering or similar or equivalent experience in a similar role

  • Ideally you will have experience with:

  • planning and execution of new vehicle programs

  • complex vehicle systems

  • vehicle assembly processes

  • trim and final processes

  • end of line vehicle processing / finishing

  • specification and procurement of assembly equipment

  • identifying resolutions for product related issues, ensuring all quality targets are achieved

  • implementation of safe working practices
