Manufacturing Engineer/ Graduate Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer or Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to join our team on a 12\-month fixed\-term contract to provide maternity cover. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early\-career engineer to gain valuable experience across manufacturing processes, new product introduction (NPI), continuous improvement, and operational excellence projects within a global manufacturing organisation.
Working alongside experienced engineers and cross\-functional teams, you will play an active role in improving manufacturing performance, supporting production operations, and delivering real business improvements from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient and effective production
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance quality, productivity and performance
- Supporting new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing readiness activities
- Assisting with root cause analysis and problem\-solving initiatives
- Working closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams on improvement projects
- Contributing to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities
- Supporting the development and maintenance of manufacturing documentation and procedures
- Hands\-on experience within a busy manufacturing environment
- Exposure to a broad range of manufacturing engineering activities

- Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related discipline

- A willingness to learn, take ownership and contribute to continuous improvement
