Manufacturing Engineer (CNC / Precision Manufacturing)
We are seeking an ambitious and hard\-working Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Camberley. This is a full\-time, permanent opportunity for an engineer with strong CNC machining and precision manufacturing experience who is looking to develop a long\-term career within a growing SME environment. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director, with a dotted line into the Engineering and Sales Manager and Operations Manager to help deliver a range of new products for aerospace, defence and automotive sectors.
Key Responsibilities
· Support and improve CNC machining and precision manufacturing processes to achieve quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
· Develop, review, and maintain manufacturing methods, route cards, work instructions, and process documentation.
· Work closely with production, engineering, sales, and operations to resolve manufacturing issues and support new and existing work.
· Drive continuous improvement activities across machining, tooling, fixturing, and production methods.
· Ensure manufacturing activities are carried out in line with company and customer quality requirements, including ISO9001 and/or AS9100 standards.
· Provide practical engineering input to improve manufacturability, repeatability, and efficiency.
· Support the introduction of new products, processes, and production improvements within a fast\-paced SME environment.
· Contribute to a safe, organised, and professional working environment.
Essential Criteria
· HND/Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering, or a minimum of 5 years’ practical experience in a manufacturing engineering role
· Experience of CNC machining and precision manufacturing
· Experience of working within an ISO9001 or AS9100 quality management system
· Experience of working within an SME environment
Security Clearance Requirement
This role will require the successful candidate to meet the criteria for UK security clearance and to undergo relevant pre\-employment and vetting checks.
