Job Summary

This is not a conventional MD role. We are looking for an experienced operator who wants to run and ultimately own an established, profitable engineering supply business.

Significant equity is available from day one, with a clear path to majority ownership for the right person.

The business serves a loyal, long\-standing client base, generating consistent recurring revenues from long\-term contracts — some spanning decades. It operates with a small, experienced technical team and has a strong regional reputation built over many years.

Jetland is providing the acquisition structure and funding. You provide the operational leadership. Together we build the value and share the outcome.

Duties

• Day\-to\-day management of a small, experienced technical team of circa 8 people


• Ownership of key client relationships and contract renewals across the existing account base


• Overseeing workshop and field service operations to maintain quality and turnaround standards


• Selling capex equipment


• Working with suppliers


• P\&L ownership including budgeting, margin control and financial reporting


• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the existing service niche


• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience running or senior managing a small engineering, technical services or equipment business


• Comfortable in both a commercial/sales capacity and an operational leadership role


• Financially literate — able to own a P\&L without a large back\-office function


• Relationship\-driven with the ability to retain and grow long\-term accounts


• Motivated by share ownership and building long\-term enterprise value — this is the opportunity, not the salary
