Shapla Tandoori is a long\-established Indian/Asian restaurant and takeaway, proudly serving the Reading community since 2009\. We offer dine\-in, takeaway, delivery, and event catering with a strong online presence on Just Eat, Deliveroo, and Uber Eats. As the business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled manager to support our operations and maintain our high service standards.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Oversee day\-to\-day restaurant and takeaway operations.


• Implement business strategies to maximise profitability and maintain cost control.


• Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, health \& safety and regulatory standards.


• Conduct regular quality, safety, and hygiene checks.


• Lead, supervise, train, and support chefs and kitchen assistants.


• Maintain a positive, efficient, and motivated workplace environment.


• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.


• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.


• Manage stock, inventory, supplier orders, and cost monitoring.


• Assist with staff scheduling, administrative duties, and performance monitoring.

• Previous experience as a restaurant/takeaway manager.


• Strong understanding of Indian/Asian cuisine and food culture.

Pay: £31,000\.00\-£42,700\.00 per year
