Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to lead our team within a vibrant hospitality or food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary and restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and foster a positive team atmosphere. A background in supervising staff, managing food production, and maintaining high standards of hospitality is essential for success in this position.

Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant or hospitality operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery

  • Supervise and manage team members, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

  • Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to meet quality standards and customer expectations

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

  • Manage food production activities, including inventory control and ordering supplies as needed

  • Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, addressing guest concerns promptly

  • Organise staff shifts and optimise labour resources to maximise productivity

  • Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork and staff development

  • Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with culinary staff

  • Uphold all health and safety regulations within the establishment
Requirements
  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting

  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations

  • Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively

  • Extensive restaurant experience, including food safety compliance and food production management

  • Familiarity with hotel or barista operations is advantageous

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure

  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and guests

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or culinary roles is highly desirable

  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of service excellence
Pay: £24,420\.00\-£74,455\.98 per year
