possible. Purpose of the position: The Analytical Data Platform
Services Team within Enterprise Business Development runs the
analytical data platform, performs data onboarding for the operational
data warehouse and analytical backbone, delivers analytics projects,
and builds and operates end-to-end data applications. The Senior
Teamlead Operational Data Services leads the team’s data engineers
and is responsible for a core data cloud application – driving its
development, service, and operation, and supporting on roadmap topics
and vision. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines people
leadership with strong, applied data engineering expertise. The role
reports to the Senior Manager Data Onboarding, Analytics & Operational
Data Services. Key Responsibilities : Lead, develop, and manage a team
of four: three data engineers and one service manager – setting
direction, prioritizing work, and growing the team’s technical and
delivery capabilities. Own a core data cloud application end to end,
taking responsibility for driving its ongoing development, service,
and reliable operation. Support roadmap topics and contribute to the
vision for the application and the broader analytical data platform,
translating strategic direction into concrete deliverables. Contribute
hands-on to data engineering work, including data onboarding for the
operational data warehouse and analytical backbone, building and
maintaining data pipelines, and developing end-to-end data
applications. Drive data quality, performance, and reliability across
the platform and applications (completeness, timeliness, correctness),
and deliver analytics projects that create value for the business.
Participate in and contribute to Cross-functional Collaboration Teams
as required Requirements: Experienced senior data engineer with people
leadership experience, combining a strong hands-on technical
foundation in modern data engineering and cloud-based data
environments with the ability to lead and develop a small engineering
team. Understanding of data lake / lakehouse architectures and
structured data processing (e.g., Delta Lake concepts) Experience with
integration patterns in distributed systems (API-based integrations,
event-driven architecture, message queues, batch vs. real-time
processing) Knowledge of data modeling concepts (semantic models,
canonical data models, mapping structures, enrichment logic) Practical
experience with structured data formats such as JSON, XML, EDI, CSV,
and working with APIs and API payloads Understanding of data quality
frameworks, monitoring approaches, and data validation techniques
Familiarity with CI/CD principles, DevOps practices, and
version-controlled deployment in data environments Ability to
translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and
to deliver them hands-on together with the team and IT Education and
Experience Master’s degree in related technical / business areas or
equivalent work experience Proven experience as a senior data
engineer, including experience leading or guiding people or teams
Skills and Competencies General Operations Skills/Competencies: Good
command, both verbal and written, English skills. Good communication
skills as the role requires frequent communication to various
directions and all management levels Ability to create collaborative
engagements and active listening Strong analytical and conceptual
capabilities Both a team builder and a team-player Language and
Computer Skills English is the principal language for this position,
additional languages may be required in other locations. Ability to
communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment. Highly
proficient in MS Office Solid understanding of modern data
architectures in cloud environments (preferably Microsoft Azure stack)
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (or comparable
orchestration tools) for building, monitoring, and troubleshooting
data pipelines Experience working with Databricks (Spark-based data
processing), including transformation logic, data validation, and
performance optimization
