Maranto's is a family owned and operated restaurant that has been serving Italian American food on Lark Lane for over four decades. Throughout those 40 years we have always prided ourselves on our customer service and hospitality. Having recently undergone a full refurbishment earlier this year, we are looking for an additional manager to join our long established team.
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence within a vibrant and professional hospitality environment. As a Manager, you will oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will inspire your team to perform at their best, foster a welcoming atmosphere, and uphold our commitment to outstanding hospitality. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate team members by providing clear direction, coaching, and support to foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Manage staffing schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance to optimize team productivity.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, menu execution, and special event requirements.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an exceptional dining or bar experience for all customers.
- Maintain inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies; oversee ordering processes to minimize waste and control costs.
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with a strong background in food and drinks.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in high\-pressure environments.
- Extensive restaurant experience including cooking, bartending, serving, or hotel operations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production and kitchen management.
- Prior experience in hospitality roles such as barista or food service is advantageous.
- Familiarity with managing kitchen operations, food presentation, and beverage service is essential.
- Strong communication skills combined with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Pay: £32,000\.00\-£36,000\.00 per year
