Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager of Logistics to lead our supply chain operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end\-to\-end management of logistics processes, ensuring seamless transportation, warehousing, and materials handling. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize category management strategies, and enhance overall efficiency across our logistics network. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on process improvement and cost efficiency.


• Manage transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities.


• Oversee third\-party logistics providers (3PL), ensuring service levels meet quality standards and contractual obligations.


• Coordinate shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation using ERP systems such as AS400\.


• Lead materials handling activities, including picking, packing, and forklift operations, maintaining safety and productivity standards.


• Analyze data related to supply chain performance to identify opportunities for optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives.


• Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to streamline processes related to supply chain management, inventory accuracy, and warehouse workflows.

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management within a fast\-paced environment.


• Strong knowledge of category management principles and process improvement methodologies.


• Hands\-on experience with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like AS400, and supply chain software tools.


• Familiarity with third\-party logistics (3PL) operations, shipping \& receiving procedures, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts.


• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets to inform decision\-making and enhance operational efficiency.


• Prior warehouse experience with expertise in picking \& packing processes, safety protocols, and warehouse organization.


• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage multiple priorities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Pay: £22\.00\-£23\.00 per hour
