The Manager \- Global Technology (d\_f\_m) plays a key role in shaping and advancing the technology landscape of DHL’s global Innovation Center network, the Group’s customer engagement platform for the future of logistics. The role is responsible for driving technology operations, platform management, and technology enablement initiatives worldwide, ensuring that systems, interactive experiences, and technology standards consistently support DHL’s innovation leadership and customer engagement ambitions.

Working closely with regional teams, vendors, and cross‑functional stakeholders, the position drives alignment, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the global Innovation Center technology ecosystem. Based at the Europe Innovation Center, DHL’s flagship site, the role helps ensure reliable, future‑ready technology platforms and immersive customer experiences while supporting the long‑term development of DHL’s global Innovation Center network.

Principal Accountabilities:

What’s your role:

• Operations \& Content Management (Intuiface)

+ Maintain oversight of daily technology operations at EPIC as the reference site, ensuring standards are met, supporting issue resolution with internal or external teams (stepping in hands\-on where needed)
+ Monitor operational health across all ICs, , identifying recurring issues or improvement opportunities
+ Maintain operational oversight of the CMS (Intuiface) across all ICs: coordinate development, integrations and updates with direction and prioritisation, act as escalation point for complex issues, and retain enough hands\-on capability to build and troubleshoot when required
+ Ensure documentation, SME support and training are in place for regional teams

• Technology Portfolio, Solutions \& Exhibits

+ Coordinate the full software and hardware lifecycle from evaluation to global rollout, and manage the global portfolio (licenses, subscriptions, assets, vendor contracts) for accuracy and compliance
+ Oversee adoption and onboarding of new solutions and maintain an accurate global inventory; evaluate and propose options where no standard solution exists
+ Monitor portfolio performance, identify gaps, and prepare recommendations
+ Oversee exhibit configuration, commissioning, handover and maintenance for our innovation showrooms with regional teams, and evaluate emerging interactive technologies

• Vendor, Procurement \& Budget

+ Manage vendor relationships and performance, and oversee procurement end to end (evaluation, POs, expense tracking), contributing to RFPs and SOWs and ensuring compliance with DHL standards
+ Manage day\-to\-day technology expenditure within the approved budget, tracking performance, flagging variances and identifying cost optimisation
+ Oversee procurement and licensing spend, ensuring purchases are aligned with approved priorities
+ Contribute to budget planning and forecasting cycles

• Standards, Knowledge \& Compliance

+ Be responsible for the quality and consistency of the global technology standards framework, oversee the centralised knowledge base, and drive cross\-center alignment and issue resolution ensuring documentation, SOPs, and training materials are current, complete, and actively used by regional teams
+ Ensure technology stays secure, compliant and up to date with DHL IT and corporate security standards, coordinating approvals, access, licensing and risk management

• Customer Experience, Team \& Project Support

+ Anticipate where the customer experience is heading and shape the technology approach to enable it, proposing and evaluating alternatives, and acting as the bridge between providers and non\-technical stakeholders
+ Ensure the technology environment reliably enables high\-quality, immersive engagements, partnering with CX, IEM and engagement teams
+ Coordinate and provide direction to regional AV/IT teams (growing into line management of regional AV/IT Specialists eventually), and lead cross\-IC technology projects
+ Contribute to the planning and execution of new Innovation Center builds or major technology programs

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

What we’re looking for:

• Technology Operations \& Platform Management Experience: 5–7 years of experience in technology management, AV/IT, digital solutions, or related fields, with a proven track record of managing or coordinating technology programs and platforms end‑to‑end.


• Global \& Multi‑Site Environment Experience: Experience leading or coordinating technology operations across multiple locations, ideally within customer‑facing, showroom, exhibition, or experiential environments.


• Technology Strategy \& Delivery Capability: Demonstrated ability to translate strategic and operational requirements into technology roadmaps, implementation plans, and scalable solutions across locations.


• Project \& Program Management Expertise: Experience coordinating projects and programs involving multiple stakeholders, timelines, budgets, and dependencies, ensuring successful delivery and operational effectiveness.


• Vendor, Procurement \& Commercial Management: Proven experience managing vendors, contracts, RFPs, SOWs, purchase order processes, vendor performance, and budget tracking within a corporate environment.


• Technology Standards \& Governance: Experience defining, maintaining, and governing technology standards, documentation, processes, and ways of working to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.


• Stakeholder Management \& Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to engage and coordinate senior stakeholders, regional teams, vendors, and cross‑functional partners, building alignment, driving resolution, and ensuring effective collaboration across complex environments.


• Technical Architecture \& Solution Expertise: Broad and solid understanding of AV/IT systems, digital platforms, and interactive technologies, with the ability to evaluate solutions, scope requirements, direct technical delivery, engage credibly with vendors and specialists, and manage competing priorities across geographies.


• AV/IT \& Interactive Technology Expertise: Working knowledge of AV systems, content management platforms, interactive and exhibit technologies, networking fundamentals, system integration concepts, and technology infrastructure within smart building or showroom environments. Experience with Intuiface or comparable platforms is a strong advantage.


• Technology Lifecycle, Security \& Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of technology lifecycle management, procurement processes, IT security, software licensing, and compliance requirements within a corporate environment.


• Ownership \& Execution Mindset: Highly organized, self‑motivated, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced international environment, with a strong sense of ownership, the ability to drive resolution, and a high tolerance for ambiguity.


• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency across the Microsoft 365 Suite and the ability to leverage digital tools to support technology operations, reporting, planning, and collaboration.


• Language Skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is an advantage.
