The Manager – Global Directs Procurement De\-risking , part of the Global Direct Materials Procurement organization, will be responsible for strategy execution for derisking activities within global materials and packaging portfolio. Role will develop de\-risk plans and execute them in partnership with Technical, QSC sites and OU team

In this role you will…

… have the unique opportunity to drive de\-risking plans for materials, packaging. This role will partner closely with the business and supply chain function to represent needs of local stakeholders and local market dynamics to drive value for Haleon. This role is responsible for the quality, service, supply risk and cost of the materials in scope of this category for the identified Haleon sites.

KeyResponsibilities

Strategy and execution

  • Create effective de\-risking strategies aligned to local business requirements and market nuances, while collaborating with global category leads

Benefit delivery
  • Deliver benefits to the OU identified as part of de\-risking plans through effective and collaborative strategy execution

  • Ensure financial benefits are managed in accordance with the Procurement Plan and Savings Methodology approach, and Finance agreement to financial value delivered and transparency on treatment of benefits in the budgeting process

Business partnering \& stakeholder management inHaleon
  • Build strategic relationship with a network of senior Haleon local/regional stakeholders, to understand business requirements, identify opportunities to create value and to position Procurement’s value proposition.

  • Influence key stakeholders and business partners to support strategy development endorse recommend strategies, support execution and agree how benefit delivery will be budgeted

External supplier relationships
  • Build strategic relationships with key regional/local suppliers and lead processes to ensure value is driven from these relationships.

Supply chain \& risk management
  • Transform the supply chain to release value and make Haleon more responsive to business and customer needs

Qualifications \& Skills:

Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree

Area of Specialisation: Procurement, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing .

  • 3\+ years of operational Procurement experience

  • In\-depth understanding of external environment and supplier relationship models

  • Preferably Strong knowledge of de\-risking

  • Clear understanding of business value, business priorities, and potential implementation risks

  • Significant experience working in a matrix (global/ regional) business environment

  • Strong networking skills and a proven ability to build productive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partners

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks across multiple projects using project management skills

  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communications, and influencing skills

  • Ability to work in high pressure environment, often under tight deadlines

  • Experience with risk management
