Anchors is a family run fish and chips takeaway in Didsbury, Manchester that has been serving high quality fish and chips in the area for over 10 years.

We offer sustainable food options, excellent customer service, event catering and an extensive training programme. We are looking for an individual with experience of running a team within a hospitality setting and who can help us to drive forward our business. Experience within a fish and chips setting is not necessary as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the takeaway


• Ensure high standards of food preparation and safety


• Lead and manage kitchen \& takeaway staff effectively


• Train new employees on culinary techniques and customer service


• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed


• Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration


• Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly


• Implement strategies to enhance overall food experience

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the hospitality sector


• Strong supervisory and team management skills


• Previous restaurant/takeaway or culinary experience is desirable


• Knowledge of food safety regulations


• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork


• Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced environment


• Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction
