Tasks & responsibilities
- You understand all aspects of the respective legal entities in Germany and their relations to each other.
- Your expertise will enable you to provide guidance to your business partners within Finance, Controlling, Taxation to secure best practice handling and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- You will report, analyze and monitor the full income statement from Net Sales to Operating Income and provide crisp information on risks and opportunities to the Finance Organization and Management Team.
- Based on your result-oriented and inter-disciplinary work, you will support decision making by looking ahead and providing excellence and insights to support solutions with impact.
- Moreover, you will support and develop Controlling concepts and are involved in the implementation of the concepts.
- You will participate in, or you lead projects within Finance and Controlling making best use of your expertise.
- Finally, you will strive for innovation and change looking for best practice solutions related to financial planning, reporting and steering processes.
Requirements
- Master's degree or comparable in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar with several years of relevant work experience
- Excellent proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, reporting and forecasting with excellent capacities in SAP, MS Excel and affinity for latest technology (e.g. Artificial Intelligence)
- Strong process-oriented thinking
- System affinity with strong functional and business know-how and the ability to understand the "big picture"
- Knowledge of internal and external accounting combined with a good understanding of relevant concepts and rules
- Communicative team player with good critical judgement, the ability to present complex matters clearly and a process-, customer- and business partner-oriented mind-set
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is an additional asset
