Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within our cafe and bar. You will help oversee and manage the running of our events. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food preparation and kitchen management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and contribute to the overall success of the venue.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily cafe \& bar operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service

  • Manage and motivate team members, including cooks, servers, baristas, and other staff

  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health \& safety standards

  • Coordinate food production activities to meet customer demands efficiently

  • Organize staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimize productivity

  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas

  • Assist in training new staff members in culinary techniques, service standards, and safety procedures

  • Collaborate with suppliers to manage stock levels and order supplies as needed

  • Opening and closing of the business.
Requirements
  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively

  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations

  • Experience in food safety protocols and food production management

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure

  • Good communication skills with a professional approach to customer service

  • Previous experience in serving or barista roles is beneficial but not essential

  • Ability to work flexibly across various shifts as required by the business needs, weekends and evenings included.

  • Driving license preferred.

  • Food \& Hygiene certificate required

  • Personal License preferred
Job Types: Part\-time, Permanent

Pay: £14,560\.00\-£21,840\.00 per year
